I maintain that Stephenie Meyer actually wrote the “Twilight” series when she was twelve, and then kept the manuscript in a drawer for twenty years before sending it off to publishers without looking back at or revising it at all. This would explain so much – the flat characterizations, the Mary Sue protagonist, the squicky attitude toward sex, the preoccupation with true and destined love that lasts forever and ever, the glittering, and the use of phrases like “betrayed by my traitorous tears”.

Ponyo was so cute! It reminded me of Miyazaki’s earlier children’s films… like Totoro, but faster paced.

Everyone is wearing them here over in Chile and I’m trying to find a relatively flattering pair as well.

Fuzzy Duck Design actually printed those up for me, I think they went through some paper company. I’ve printed cards before at Office Depot, it’s not too expensive.
